had the pleasure of hearing Verlene and Lynda
performing as a duo in Willow Glen recently. Their
repertoire certainly includes a lot of Irish/Scottish
trad, but they also play and sing music from many
sources -- movie soundtracks, show tunes, reggae, and
who-know-what-else they'll include next time! And of
course, to make things even more interesting, they
each play three or four instruments to go along with
their sweet vocal harmonies. It was worth driving over
an hour to hear them!
